Martial Arts World Champion
Our own Gareth Burns 2nd Dan Ju-Jitsu. at just 17 year old has just returned from the World Martial Arts Games in Germany winning a Gold Medal in the Grappling and a Bronze Medal in the Ju-Jitsu Kumite. Gareth travelled to Germany with Sensei Paul Nelis 4 th Dan, one of the Senior Instructors from the Club, as a coach We are very proud of Gareth’s
achievement, especially as this is his first International competition and the first time he has competed as an intermediate, having previously being the British Junior Champion for the Ju-Jitsu Kumite for 2005 & 2006.
